Prineville’s Homegrown Heart:
The CROP Farmers Market
More than just a marketplace, it serves as a gathering spot that promotes food security and supports the local economy. Visitors can enjoy live music and family-friendly activities while shopping for peak-season vegetables, honey, meats, and unique crafts. By prioritizing sustainability and community health, the CROP Farmers Market ensures that the heart of Central Oregon’s agricultural heritage remains accessible and thriving for everyone.
Community & Accessibility
The market is held at Stryker Park, which is a “Wheel The World” verified accessible venue, ensuring everyone in the community can enjoy the experience. To help make fresh food affordable for all, some vendors participate in nutrition programs like the Farm Direct Nutrition Program, which can help families stretch their food budgets further while supporting local growers

- From the Even Sweeter Side: Shoppers often can find everything from homemade fruit jellies and caramel sauces to dehydrated sourdough starters and pre-packaged baking mixes (pancakes, cookies, etc.)
Local Artisans
& Crafters
The market also serves as a gallery for local talent, making it a great place to find unique gifts:
- Handmade Goods: Look for hand-turned wooden bowls, intricate jewelry, and engraved wooden items like keychains and wine holders.
- Apparel & Art: Vendors like Be Positivity offer original artwork on shirts, bags, and tea towels, while others provide fun additions like permanent jewelry or leather-patched hats.
